Happy to present the 13th Captain of Velo???? 2016 Rajnish Thanekar
Rajnish is a business development consultant free lancing over last 4 years and considers cycling to be a manifestation of the freedom he has experienced as a self-employed person after working for 23 years in the corporate world.
Rajnish bought a cycle in Jan 2011 started serious riding as a group in Aug 2012 with a 180-kms ride first time in his life. Rajnish has been a regular participant in the cycling events. He participated in 1st Pedal-for-Peace (PFP) race and since then he has participated in all editions of PFP and has been a Captain for 2 Veloraid events and 2 PFP events. He did his first 200 kms Night BRM from Chembur to Kamshet and back in May 2015.
For Rajnish, cycling is an expression of freedom and helps him in getting a very different perspective of the world, making him a better human being in the process.
