Happy to introduce the 12th Captain of Velo???? 2016 Pankaj Marlesha. Pankaj started cycling way back in 1996 during his school days winning inter school cycling events. Post that, he went on to the State Championships as well. Winner of the 2001 National Games bronze medal, Pankaj is also the recipient of the prestigious Chhatrapati Shivaji award in 2005. During this championship days, Pankaj has won almost all State level races including winner of the 2003 Mumbai Pune race.
Pankaj has participated in 12 national level road championships, 9 track national championships and 5 national games. Besides being a State Champion for more than 5 years in his illustrious sporting career.
Pankaj still continues to pursue his passion in cycling and is an avid cyclist and promoter of cycling as a sport. On behalf of the organising committee, I welcome Pankaj on-board as our 12th Captain and I am sure his team has a lot to benefit from his years of experience.
